The Appointment Group (TAG) announces senior team expansion with the appointment of Chairman, CTO and CPO

The Appointment Group (TAG) announces the appointment of Terry Williamson as non-executive Chairman of the Board.

Terry brings over 30 years of experience within travel and private equity sectors and has led 3 successful exits, most recently as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JacTravel and before that of School Travel Group.  He started his career in finance and has held senior roles in travel, such as Managing Director of UK Tour Operations for Thomas Cook Group.  Terry will Chair TAG’s board, whilst working alongside Steve Barrass, CEO; Nick Stone, CFO; and John Gianquitto, Founder and President.

John Gianquitto, Founder and President, TAG said: “Terry’s vast background in travel and private equity investment, along with his proven boardroom leadership experience, are a great addition to TAG.  The Board joins me in welcoming Terry as Chairman. In 2018, we made some fundamental changes and important investments into the company and we look forward to continuing the international development of the business and building upon our leadership position in the entertainment touring sector.”

TAG is also delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Mackay as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Jennifer Pratt as Chief People Officer (CPO).

Stuart will be responsible for the continued development of TAG’s technology roadmap, pushing for further growth, utilising modern technologies to enhance and transform our current client experience. Stuart has a successful background in Business and IT Transformation having most recently held the position of IT Programme Director in Travis Perkins. Prior to this, Stuart spent time in the Telecoms industry at Vodafone running various Transformation Programmes.  He also served as Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for Hewlett Packard.

Jennifer’s most recent appointment was as Executive Director HR at Crown Agents and previously a Global Talent Management and Development Director at LGC. In her new role, she will oversee TAG’s People development and talent acquisition, as well as lead the overall workplace and employee experience globally.
