Festival Season for TAG Film and Media
Cannes Film Festival
Opening the Film Festival Season, as each year, is the one and only Cannes Film Festival. Anyone who is anyone in the film world will have the dates pencilled in their calendar year on year.
These festivals are the prime opportunity to catch up with former clients and meet potential new ones. Over the space of two weeks Cannes becomes the Global Film hub and this therefore is the prime location to meet up, do business and network.
Furthermore, Cannes offers also the opportunity to see the end result of the work that goes into film making, the film itself. At this year’s festival, we were lucky enough to attend the screenings of Jodie Foster’s Money Monster, as well as Woody Allen’s ‘Café Society’.
Edinburgh International Film Festival
This year, Edinburgh International Film Festival celebrated its hugely successful 70th edition, which saw impressive audience numbers, an array of high profile talent from around the globe in attendance and widespread support across the city.
‘Tommy’s Honour’, a film directed by Scottish director Jason Connery opened the festivities. The film starring Peter Mullan and Jack Lowden was filmed on location in Scotland with all of the production travel organised by TAG Global Film and Media.
