Staff Interview - 10 Minutes with Deanna Williams, TAG Global Film & Media Manager UK
1. What is your role at TAG?
I am the TAG Global Film & Media Manager UK. I am responsible for bringing in new business within the film & media industry to the London & Manchester operations.
2. What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
The aspect of my role that I enjoy the most is when I win a new production or a new business. Which is followed by working alongside the production teams to fulfil all the travel requirements to then seeing the end results on the big screen!
3. What does your typical work day consist of?
Currently my typical day consists of chasing new business and networking. I am still getting to know everyone and learning the systems and procedures used within TAG, as well as liaising with the rest of the UK team on a regular basis.
4. What do you think makes TAG different or unique from other Travel & Event Management Companies?
I think TAG differentiates itself from other Travel & Events Management Companies mainly because of the people. Everyone is so enthusiastic about what they do and goes the extra mile for their clients. There is a real positive vibe whichever department you’re talking to.
5. What would be your perfect holiday/vacation?
My perfect holiday would consist of flying in style to any location that is hot, relaxing, with exceptional service and surrounded by my loved ones.
6. What is your favourite city and hotel in the world?
My favourite city to date is Dublin. I think the people are fabulous and friendly! The Shelbourne hotel is beautiful and a must visit, if you haven’t already. The Horseshoe Bar within the hotel has a great cocktail list too!
7. What is the one thing you cannot live without?
One thing I cannot live without is crisps...I love them and of course my family.
8. Tell us one thing about you that we might be surprised about?
The one thing you might be surprised about me is I'm an avid Manchester City fan having held a season ticket for 26 years. I've seen some doom & gloom over the years, but fingers crossed them days are well & truly over now.
