The Appointment Group launches TAG Global Training Academy in the United States

The Appointment Group (TAG) has officially launched TAG Global Training Academy in the United States, welcoming a class of five trainees to the Los Angeles office.

Upon completion of the two-year training programme the trainees will graduate as Global Touring, Private Clients and Corporate Travel Executives, being able to take the next step in their career.

Launched in 2015 in London, the TAG Global Training Academy now has two successful editions, with 12 trainees that have become experts Travel Executives and are part of the Global Touring, Corporate and Film and Media teams.

With a multi-dimensional approach in mind, TAG Academy’s main mission is to educate and offer professional training to young individuals aiming to become expert Travel Executives. Alongside this, the academy also aims to offer training programmes, such as, supplier product training, sector specific seminars, amongst others, to ensure TAG staff maintain the very highest level of knowledge and service possible.

This project is managed by Lesley Adams, Company Trainer at The Appointment Group. Lesley has over 30 years’ experience in leading and managing strategic and operational capability development interventions such as learning, training, development and coaching.

The content of the training has been developed by Lesley, in conjunction with TAG Managing Director - USA Gabrielle Carr, a number of TAG Directors, TAG Operations team and key staff members, industry partners, suppliers and colleges & universities.
