The Opportunity  

We have a rare opportunity for a senior travel consultant to join our dynamic Singapore team. This position will provide consultative travel services for TAG clients in Asia and global TAG offices as part our TAG24 Team. This role is unique as it will give you exposure to local and global markets and the opportunity to become a specialist across all TAG travel divisions. The position requires someone who can be flexible with hours and able to work on weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Fully service all inquiries, requests, bookings, and ticketing with the highest standards and quality documentation
  • Ensure all air, rail, hotel, and/or other ancillary reservations meet company and client expectations
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, ensuring the highest standards are delivered at all times with a personalized and individual approach to each client
  • Action all required tasks related to clients and/or suppliers in a timely and effective manner to ensure correct information is readily available for continuity of service for all team members 
  • Provide effective travel solutions for enroute traveller concerns, changes or disruptions and assist with complaints or refunds 
  • Keep fully informed about all airline rules and regulations, and other industry requirements and accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements 
  • Utilize time management skills to efficiently organize and process workload during designated shift, ensuring deadlines and SLA’s are met 
  • Process complex reissues and pricing records accurately 
  • Respond to all communications proactively, promptly, efficiently, and accurately 
  • Consistently demonstrate attention to detail to mitigate errors and potential financial loss on accounts
  • Build professional relationships with key vendors relevant and always support preferred supplier programs 
  • Negotiate the best rates and deals to reduce client expenditures 
  • Mentor junior members of the team and attend company training sessions as required 
Skills & Experience 
  • Diploma in Travel & Tourism or similar certification  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant (TMC desirable)    
  • Solid GDS knowledge (Galileo preferred) 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of domestic and international airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and reissues 
  • Experience with VIP/CIP clientele 
  • Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin desirable  
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment 
  • Proficient with Excel and Google Docs  
  • Experience in group travel, group airfares with FIT flights and multi destinations 
  • Bonus:
    • Ability to work on project-based enquiries - including TV productions, marketing campaigns, music tour flights
    • Ability to provide expert service specifically for the project and clientele involved
