Travel assistant Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Travel Assistant who can support our growing touring department. As a Travel Assistant, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Support the assigned department in managing all aspects of client travel requirements
Develop and maintain strong sales, transaction, and margin performance; monitor KPIs and activity reports to meet targets
Respond promptly and accurately to all client and internal communications
Maintain accurate data entry on movement sheets and Majic files, including transaction and service fees
Process invoices, client folios, and credit card payment authorizations in a timely and precise manner
Collaborate with team members to complete delegated tasks efficiently and ensure clear communication across projects
Investigate and resolve client issues or errors, escalating as needed to ensure satisfactory outcomes
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/AS or BS/BA degree preferred
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a corporate environment (required)
Previous experience in the travel industry preferred
Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or higher)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Works well both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
