Air Specialist Overview:

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Air Specialist who can support our growing Production department. As an Air Specialist with a strong emphasis on ticketing, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage client travel needs by analyzing requests, creating itineraries, and ensuring budgets and preferences are met

• Handle all bookings (air, rail, hotel, and ancillary services) with accuracy, high service standards, and proper documentation

• Resolve errors and client complaints while safeguarding the company from financial losses

• Negotiate with vendors for the best rates and identify revenue opportunities to maximize profitability

• Complete administrative and financial tasks, including accounting queries, reconciliations, and accurate GDS/PNR entries

• Communicate proactively and efficiently with clients, suppliers, and team members to maintain seamless service

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and directly related experience considered

• Minimum 2 years of travel agency experience required

• Strong knowledge of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and reissues

• GDS experience required (Galileo preferred)

• Proficient in booking flights, hotels, and published airfares

• Experience with VIP, entertainment, and/or group travel preferred
