Air Specialist Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Air Specialist who can support our growing Production department. As an Air Specialist with a strong emphasis on ticketing, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage client travel needs by analyzing requests, creating itineraries, and ensuring budgets and preferences are met
Handle all bookings (air, rail, hotel, and ancillary services) with accuracy, high service standards, and proper documentation
Resolve errors and client complaints while safeguarding the company from financial losses
Negotiate with vendors for the best rates and identify revenue opportunities to maximize profitability
Complete administrative and financial tasks, including accounting queries, reconciliations, and accurate GDS/PNR entries
Communicate proactively and efficiently with clients, suppliers, and team members to maintain seamless service
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and directly related experience considered
Minimum 2 years of travel agency experience required
Strong knowledge of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and reissues
GDS experience required (Galileo preferred)
Proficient in booking flights, hotels, and published airfares
Experience with VIP, entertainment, and/or group travel preferred
