Leisure Travel Specialist Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) hybrid, Leisure Travel Specialist who can support our growing Leisure Department. As an Account Manager, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage end-to-end client travel arrangements, anticipating preferences, budgets, and specific requirements to deliver high-quality, compliant travel solutions
Analyse enquiries and design complex itineraries, coordinating air, rail, accommodation, and ancillary services in line with client and company standards
Provide full-service support across enquiries, bookings, ticketing, and documentation with exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and service excellence
Proactively investigate and resolve booking issues and client concerns, maintaining the highest standards of customer care and professionalism
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support retention, service continuity, and personalised experiences
Drive revenue and profitability by negotiating competitive rates, identifying upsell opportunities, and minimising financial risk and errors
Manage administrative and financial processes, including reconciliations, accounting queries, credit checks, and payment follow-ups in partnership with Finance
Maintain accurate system records and compliance (including GDS/PNR integrity and PCI), while continuously developing destination, product, and industry knowledge through training and supplier engagement
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a travel agency environment
Strong expertise in air travel, including published and negotiated fares, ticketing, exchanges, and reissues, with hands-on GDS experience (Galileo preferred)
Proven experience booking air and hotel travel and servicing VIP, entertainment, and/or group travel clients
Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and self-starting approach
Highly organised and adaptable, with strong problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritisation skills, able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
