Senior Business Analyst Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (35 hours per week) Senior Business Analyst who can support our growing IT Department. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Act as the subject matter expert for software platforms, product suites, and business system capabilities
Identify solutions and address gaps in products, processes, or knowledge, managing delivery into production and live use across all TAG regional offices
Define, develop, and enhance capabilities of existing products and processes in live operation
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions using methodologies such as use cases, user stories, UML diagrams, and related artefacts
Test new functionality as defined and developed, through direct and/or collaborative involvement
Analyze APIs to support integration with third-party platforms, including airline reservation and airport operations systems, hotel booking tools, payment gateways, insurance services, and more
Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with third-party providers and specialists to understand system behaviors and interface requirements
Present and demonstrate product concepts and solutions internally and externally to clients, supplier partners, and third-party providers
Ensure visibility and clear communication of product and process changes, providing defined requirements for technical teams
Provide ongoing support, guidance, and expertise to business and technical teams regarding system requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Senior-level Business Analyst experience, including team leadership and delivery of business system and process change
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across multiple business functions to achieve organizational goals
Strong track record of producing clear, effective technical and non-technical documentation
Demonstrated understanding of integration technologies, standards, and interfacing methodologies
Proficiency in UML and other common modeling languages and tools
Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration platforms
Working knowledge of airline booking tools, including Travelport or other GDS systems
Experience in commercial IT/software delivery, with background in the airline or broader travel industry
