SENIOR TOUR Specialist Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Senior Tour Specialist who can support our growing touring department. As a Senior Tour Specialist, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage all aspects of touring client travel — from anticipating preferences to formulating detailed itineraries that balance logistical needs, budgets, and requirements
Handle inquiries, bookings, ticketing, reissues, and quality documentation across air, rail, hotel, and ancillary services, ensuring accuracy and exceptional service standards
Investigate and resolve client complaints or errors promptly, delivering the highest level of customer service
Negotiate with vendors to secure the best rates, optimize revenue opportunities, and support company profitability
Oversee administrative and financial tasks, including accounting queries, reconciliations, and client credit management in partnership with Finance
Uphold professionalism and act as a mentor within the touring team, supporting skill development while retaining accounts through consistent, personalized service
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and directly related experience considered
5+ years of experience in a travel agency (required)
Strong expertise in airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and reissues (required)
Proficiency with GDS systems — Galileo preferred (required)
Skilled in booking flights and hotels with a solid understanding of published airfares (required)
Experience working with VIPs, entertainment clients, and/or group travel (preferred)
