Touring account manager Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) hybrid, Accounting Manager who can support our growing Touring Department. As an Account Manager, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and manage strategic client business plans, aligning mutual goals, demonstrating value, managing contractual commitments, and driving performance outcomes
Analyse and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MI reporting, delivering data-driven insights, recommendations, and optimisation opportunities
Lead regular business reviews focused on travel spend, savings achieved, supplier performance, and continuous program improvement
Manage and execute corporate travel programs and policies, maintaining strong knowledge of client and supplier contracts to support negotiations and financial results
Benchmark client programs against market trends and peer data to inform strategy and identify best practices
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders through proactive engagement, communication, and education initiatives
Support supplier negotiations and re-bid processes, including RFP/RFI coordination and contract implementation
Drive client retention (99%+ target) and identify opportunities for value-added services, product growth, consolidation, and meetings and events solutions
Develop and manage new and existing business opportunities, including Touring division growth, pipeline management, deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations and Leadership
Qualifications:
Equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant account management or sales experience within a corporate travel management company (5 years preferred)
Demonstrated success in client relationship management with a strong track record of high client satisfaction and retention
Proven consultative sales expertise working with senior-level corporate clients
Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
Solid understanding of industry fee structures, including transaction, management, and hybrid models
Prior experience using a sales CRM, preferably HubSpot
