Travel Consultant - Production Overview:

A Travel Consultant is responsible for booking and managing all aspects of Production client travel requests. This role is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service through a personalised approach tailored to each client’s needs. The Travel Consultant carries out all responsibilities in accordance with client Service Level Agreements and TAG policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage all travel requests accurately and efficiently from enquiry through to reconciliation, ensuring all air, hotel, rail, and ancillary reservations meet client expectations

  • Handle post-booking requests and process any required amendments or ticket reissues in a timely manner

  • Respond promptly to client enquiries, ensuring all issues are resolved professionally and to a high standard

  • Negotiate competitive rates and supplier agreements to maximise client savings and minimise expenditure, while identifying opportunities to support overall company profitability

  • Ensure all Quality Control (QC) procedures are followed and that all Galileo PNRs are accurate, complete, and fully maintained

  • Carry out all duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to minimise errors, prevent avoidable financial loss, and maintain clear records to support seamless service continuity across the team

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience within a travel agency

  • Hotel and air fares ticketing experience

  • Experience of servicing groups

  • GDS experience (Galileo preferred

  • Proven record of working in a fast-paced environment
