TAG drives a major win for Australian film makers

The Australian film and media industry has had a major win that will make production travel all the more easy, thanks to TAG’s APAC Film and Media division.
 
National carrier Qantas has announced the roll out of a new increased baggage offering for associate members of TAG’s partner organisation Screen Producers Australia.
 
This deal allows them to travel with a total of up to three bags per customer (rather than the standard allowance) with a weight allowance applicable to their class of travel and Frequent Flyer status.

To be eligible you must:

•  Be an Associate Members of Screen Producers Australia and be able to prove membership at check-in
• Make the additional baggage request at least three business days prior to departure
• Have a booking to travel on Qantas or Qantaslink operated domestic flights

 
The offering was announced at this week’s Screen Forever Conference – the largest gathering of the film and media industry in Australia, supported by TAG.
 
It follows a similar deal previously put in place by Virgin Australia, but the Qantas offering will deliver a major win for film makers travelling across its extensive regional network across the country.
 
A different allowance may apply to Groups of more than 10 people and your TAG Travel Executive will need to liaise with Qantas Groups.
