Our Story

Back in 1988, with Reagan in the White House, Thatcher in Downing Street and Simply Red playing in the background, two twenty-something year olds had a dream to form the largest independent travel touring specialist in the world.  

In a one bed flat in North London, Travel By Appointment was born. Within three months the team had smashed their three year business plan and were setting the standards for how travel and touring should be done.  

Fast-forward a few decades; gone are the shoulder pads and sharing a landline, but what remains is the same passion and determination to deliver clients unrivalled experience. That’s how our founders created the biggest and best independent touring specialist in the world.

Consistently providing a high-touch, personal service isn’t easy. But neither is performing 85 times to a collective 3.5 million fans in 32 countries. We understand the pressures and demands on everyone involved with a tour, that’s why we’re there for you whenever and wherever you need us.
