  • Gold Room: Warm and welcoming, the alpine-accented Gold rooms offer views of the Yuculta Rapids and mountain ranges beyond from the comfort of a pillow-top Queen or King-sized bed. The elegant ensuite boasts a soaker tub, separate glass shower and heated natural slate tile. Within the Arbutus, Gillard and Haida lodges, rooms connect to lavish common lounges with vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces and state-of-the-art electronics, as well as garden patio or roof-top balcony hot tubs from which to enjoy another angle of Sonora’s wild panorama

  • Diamond Room: A room-with-a-staggering-view, the Diamond rooms are everything the Gold rooms are and more—more sumptuous space to spread out, or more of an ocean vista atop the highest floor. Picture windows, post and beam styling and nature-inspired shades of cedar, sand and slate combined to create an inviting, idyllic hideaway. You’ll find Diamond rooms in the Arbutus, Gillard, Haida and Yuculta lodges. Each lodge includes large common lounges with vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces and state-of-the-art electronics, as well as garden patio or roof-top balcony hot tubs from which to soak up that much more of the resort’s postcard setting.

  • Bute Diamond: Clad in the subdued hues of the West Coast landscape, the interiors of the two-bedroom, diamond Bute suite are the epitome of calm, cool and reflective. Every room affords guests a fireplace and a captivating view of the ocean out front and Stuart Island beyond. Situated close to the main lodge affords Bute’s guests easy access to the pool, hot tub and Tyee Dining Room

  • Yuculta Suite: Two lavish levels provide a spacious seaside haven. Decked in shades of cranberry, sage and sandstone with cedar vaulted ceilings, Yuculta’s Lower Suite includes three bedrooms, one with a King-sized bed and the others with two Queen-sized beds each, while the Upper Suite has two Queen-sized beds in each of its three bedrooms. Both floors have their own fully-appointed common areas with a fireplace, entertainment system and wrap-around views of the rapids from which the lodge takes its name. To ensure every guest gets a sunset hot tub session in, each level has its own. The Upper Level Suite and Lower Level Suite (each with 3 bedrooms) can be booked together or separately

  • Presidential Suite: High ceilings, a winding staircase and a private indoor hot tub makes this two bedroom suite the ideal place to celebrate. A master bedroom overlooks the captivating ocean. The guest suite can be outfitted with one King bed or made into two twins.Situated close to the main lodge affords Presidential’s guests easy access to the pool, dining room and lounge.

  • Eagle Rock Private Villa: The best nest in the trees, Eagle Rock is a plush perch. Flanked by firs on either side with the sea swirling out front, all of the private lodge’s four rooms boast oceanfront views, so there’s no drawing straws. With a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows, wood beams and stone fireplace, the A-framed great room sets the scene for memorable evening gatherings. Eagle Rock is a short stroll from the main lodge and includes its own self-playing baby grand piano and a private office

  • Sea Lion Pointe - Private Villa: The pièce de résistance on its own peninsula—secluded on the resort’s farthest corner and facing the sea—Sea Lion Pointe is a singular kind of sanctuary wherein art, architecture and nature are seamlessly woven. One of the largest commissions of B.C. art is contained within, including glass monoliths by Markian Olynyk and cedar story poles by Philip Gray. Works by West Coast artists also fill the lodge’s four suites, which take inspiration from each of the seasons. In the great room stands a towering fireplace on one side and sky-high windows on the other, with doors that lead to a terrace overlooking Innes Passage. Sea Lion Pointe has its own outdoor covered seating area. On the mezzanine, a billiards room, home theatre and wet bar facilitates after-dinner entertainment. And on the roof, a hot tub for a late-night soak with stars of the celestial kind
