Alitalia - Transport Strike in Italy - Friday 16 June 2017

Alitalia has been forced to cancel several domestic and international flights scheduled for Friday 16th June, as well as some flights in the early morning of Saturday 17th June due to a Transport Sector Strike.

Alitalia has taken special measures to mitigate customer inconvenience and to rebook the highest possible number of passengers affected by cancellations onto the first available flights. Larger capacity aircraft will operate on several domestic and international routes in order to carry as many passengers as possible.

Flights departing from Italy will operate as usual between 7am and 10am and between 6pm and 9pm Rome time on Friday 16th June.
