We are looking for a full-time (35 hours per week) Senior Business Analyst who can support our growing IT Department. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Seek solutions and address deficiencies in a product, process or knowledge and manage delivery into production and live use for TAG business across all regional offices
- Define and develop capabilities of an existing product or process in live operation
- Capture and transform business requirements into technical solutions
- Analyse APIs for integrating third-party platforms such as airline reservation and airport operation systems, hotel booking facilities, payment gateways, insurance services, etc.
- Run workshops with internal and external stakeholders, and work with third-party providers and experts where necessary, to understand the behaviours and requirements of interface systems
- Oversee governance across a portfolio of complex initiatives, spanning multiple global TAG divisions and regions, ensuring alignment to company strategic objectives
- Identify how proposed solutions will address business goals while maintaining adherence to travel industry rules and best practices
- Manage a team of Business Analysts, including general day-to-day people management, coaching and mentoring, motivation and supervision, workload distribution, performance, appraisals, absence, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience at a senior level, managing a team, and delivering business system and process change
- Demonstrated understanding of UML and other common modelling languages and tools
- Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools
- Working knowledge of airline booking tools, Travelport or other GDS systems
- Proficiency in commercial IT/software delivery, and airline or general travel industry experience.
