British Airways drops Gatwick to Oakland route

British Airways (BA) has confirmed plans to drop the flight route from Gatwick to Oakland International for this winter.

BA launched this route back in March 2017 from the San Francisco Bay Area Airport, and have been competing with Norwegian on the route. The last date of this service is 20^th October 2018. This service will relaunch in March 2019.

They will use these time slots to provide year round flying services from Gatwick to Vegas, as well as adding three more flights to the schedule.
