British Airways – Industrial action 3rd to 9th March

All British Airways (BA) customers will be able to fly to their destinations, despite a further seven days of proposed industrial action by Mixed Fleet Unite, which represents one of BA’s five cabin crew fleets, between Friday 3rd March and Thursday 9th March (inclusive). Flights on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th March:
  • All flights to and from London Gatwick will operate as normal.
  • All flights to and from London City will operate as normal.
  • The vast majority of flights to and from London Heathrow will operate as normal.
As part of BA’s contingency plans, a very small number of flights to and from Heathrow will be merged. Affected customers are being contacted with the options available for them and will be able to travel on alternative flights if they wish. Flights on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th March: BA will once again ensure that all of its customers will travel to their destinations. The airline will publish its contingency plans on Friday, 3rd March to customers who have bookings on these four further days of threatened industrial action. Source: British Airways
