Delta, Virgin Australia strengthen trans-Pacific network with L.A.-Melbourne service
Delta and joint venture partner Virgin Australia celebrated the expansion of their trans-Pacific network with the launch of Virgin Australia’s direct service between Los Angeles and Melbourne.
Virgin Australia now operates five weekly flights between Melbourne and Los Angeles using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, giving Delta customers direct access to Melbourne.
Delta’s premium cabin Delta One, alongside Virgin Australia’s business-class experience The Business, distinguishes Delta and Virgin Australia as the only trans-Pacific alliance to consistently offer full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access in business class.
