Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten - New lifestyle restaurant NIKKEI NINE in winter 2016
In winter 2016 the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg will open the new design-restaurant NIKKEI NINE, offering innovative Japanese cuisine incorporated with Peruvian ingredients.
In the age of global proximity, the term fusion cuisine symbolises the merging of regional cuisine – especially classical dishes and cooking techniques that are typical for a specific region or country with unusual ingredients from other countries and regions. This interplay of contrasts is especially exciting when whole continents are connected in a culinary way: the so called NIKKEI CUISINE represents Japanese cuisine with a South American influence originated from the kitchens of Japanese immigrants in America.
Using surprising combinations and intense flavours NIKKEI cultivated a style that complements the Japanese fine sense of classically elegant dishes by adding cheerful, hearty South American elements from Peru and Brazil.
