Possible strikes to affect travel in Italy - 20th March
Italian air traffic controllers have announced a nationwide strike to take place on 20th March 2017 in Italy. The strike measures are planned to last from 13:00 until 17:00.
Additionally, a 24-hour strike of the ground staff at the Milan airports Malpensa and Linate is also planned to take place on 20th March 2017.
If the strikes go ahead, severe flight delays and disruptions are expected. Passengers are encouraged to check the status of their flight before departure.
