Storm Doris and Italian industrial action to affect travel

Due to Strong winds and a poor weather forecast for today, Thursday 23rd February, relating to Storm Doris, flight delays and cancellations are expected across the UK.

Additionally some airports in Italy may face disruption today, due to industrial action by airport workers. As a result British Airways have proactively re-timed some flights to avoid the strike periods at certain airports. Unfortunately, the cancellation of a number of flights was unavoidable (listed below). Larger aircrafts shall be used wherever possible, to help affected customers reduce any disruption.

• BA2584/BA2585 LGW-VCE cancelled
• BA560/BA559 LHR-FCO cancelled
• BA604/BA605 LHR-PSA retimed to 4 hours later and aircraft change from A321 to A320

We advise travellers to check the status of their flight before making their way to the airport.
