Travel Bulletin: London Gatwick - Severe rail disruption

Gatwick Airport is expecting significant disruption on all rail services to and from the airport on 13th, 14th and 16th December.

Please be advised that during this period there will be no Southern Rail trains and there will be significant disruption to Gatwick Express services with no service to/from Brighton.

On Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th and Friday 16th December there will be a reduced Gatwick Express service with trains running every 30 minutes between 05:00 and 22:00.

Thameslink services are not expected to be affected by the strike, but will be extremely busy. Great Western services to Reading will not be affected.

Thameslink, Southern and Gatwick Express will be accepting each other’s tickets during the strike.

Please plan your journey in advance and allow plenty of extra time to get to the airport.
