Travel Bulletin: Lufthansa pilot strike - 29th & 30th November - Update

Updated: 28 Nov 2016 @ 11:56 Germany’s pilot union “Vereinigung Cockpit” (VC) has decided to extend the strike for Lufthansa flights from Germany on continental routes on Tuesday, 29th November 2016 and on continental and intercontinental routes on Wednesday, 30th November 2016. Today, Monday 28th November, flight operations will proceed according to schedule. The strike announcement concerns Lufthansa flights only. Flights operated by Lufthansa CityLine, Germanwings, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and Brussels Airlines are not affected by the strike measures and will continue to operate as normal. We advise all travellers to check with your airline for the latest information and allow extra time to make your way to the airport. The strike announcement concerns Lufthansa flights only. Flights operated by Lufthansa CityLine, Germanwings, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and Brussels Airlines are not affected by the strike measures and will continue to operate as normal.
