American Airlines Premium Economy seats now on sale

American Airlines is the first US airline with a Premium Economy cabin on select international routes. Premium Economy will be available for purchase on flights when operating their new 787-9 Dreamliner. Your ticket will get you a seat between Flagship® Business and the Main Cabin, with special amenities during your flight. American Airlines will continue to introduce Premium Economy to additional routes and aircraft throughout the year. The new Premium Economy seats will first be available on the following routes, starting May 2nd:
  • Dallas (DFW) – São Paulo (GRU)
  • Dallas (DFW) – Madrid (MAD)
  • Dallas (DFW) – Paris (CDG)
  • Dallas (DFW) – Seoul (ICN)
  • Chicago (ORD) – Paris (CDG) for travel between July 5th and August 5th, 2017
If you decide to purchase a Premium Economy seat, you’ll be treated to a larger leather seat with 38 inches of pitch and foot rests along with larger, touchscreen IFE monitors, noise-reducing headphones, an amenity kit, pillows and blankets, enhanced meal service with complimentary beer, wine and spirits, a free checked bag and priority boarding (Group 4).
