American Airlines' two new app features

American Airlines have made travel easy with their app. By downloading the free app onto your mobile devices you can manage your travel on the go. From booking and seat assignments to your boarding pass and airport maps, American Airlines are with you every step of the way.

New features

• Watch free entertainment: you can stream American Airline's library of in-flight entertainment to your device, via the app
• Food on the go: pre-order food from airport restaurants and pick it up before you board
• Same day changes: if plans change, choose a different flight for the same day (fees may apply)
• Instant rebooking: if your flight gets delayed or cancelled, move to another - no lines needeed
• Track your bags: check the status of your bags whilst in-flight, make delivery plans if delayed
• Personalised experience: stay signed in to get specific info for your trip, right when you need it

What else is new?

• Get boarding passes for up to 9 passengers in your trip
• Scan your passport when you check in for your flight (instead of entering the info manually)
• Enjoy an improved flight status look-up and display
