Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo celebrates festive season

Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo, a world-class eco-retreat located within the 1,400-acre private resort community of Peninsula Papagayo, is celebrating its 2019 festive season by unveiling two weeks of unique family-friendly holiday adventures and experiences including: snorkeling tours, nightly live music, Latin dancing experiences, mixology classes and cooking classes. Added holiday merriment includes: Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas breakfast, Santa Splash, New Year’s Eve five course dinner, New Year’s Eve buffet and countdown party. For a limited time, guests can also enjoy a unique winter escape with a can’t-miss Fifth Night Free promotion valid for stays from January 2 through May 31, 2020.

To run from December 20 to January 2, 2020 - Andaz Costa Rica Resort will be hosting festive events and excursions including:

• Health & Wellness Activities: Guests can enrich their spirit with mind-body-soul experiences including a make-your-own Beach Scrub class; experience oceanview yoga at all levels or practice SUP at Andaz Beach House; join a bike tour across the peninsula’s bountiful grounds or enjoy a latin dance experience for a true pura vida celebration.
• Locally-Inspired F&B Classes: Enjoy fun and delicious culinary experiences including a Barista class featuring Costa Rica’s finest coffee; a Mixology class exploring the art of crafting artisan cocktails; a dedicated Ceviche, sushi or poke class with an array of fresh fish and flavors; and a Cookie Making class uncovering the secret to the perfect cookie.
• Santa Splash: Families can have fun in the sun with a kayaking tour to secret beaches; snorkeling tour at Sombrero Oscuro to swim with seasonal tropical fish or Santa Splash celebration with activities for kids of all ages.
• New Year’s Eve: Start the night with a buffet dinner in Rio Bhongo and special entertainment for the kids. Countdown in Chao Pescao, our neighborhood bar and dance the night away with Live Music, Or, enjoy the sophisticated ambiance in Ostra, our signature restaurant, with a five course dinner. 

With Andaz Costa Rica Resort’s Fifth Night Free promotion, guests can extend their tropical getaway enjoying a free extra night, along with $100 credit, welcome amenity, early check-in, late check-out, ability to upgrade upon arrival, and a daily breakfast for up to two in-room guests.
