Five star luxury meets contemporary creativity at Andaz London

Located in the heart of vibrant East London, Andaz London opened as the historical Great Eastern Hotel in 1884 housed in a beautiful redbrick Victorian building designed by the architects of the Houses of Parliament. London’s prominent historical sites – London Bridge or the Tower of London - are within walking distance of the hotel and our neighbourhood is thriving with new graffiti art popping up every day, up and coming trendy designer boutiques, several vibrant markets and inspiring art galleries. With the hotel adjacent to Liverpool Street station you are only a couple of stops away from all else the city has to offer.

Capturing the hotel’s location, history and heritage, our 267 rooms and suites have been recently fully refurbished in an aim to be creative spaces where the traditionally conservative City meets the vibrant artistic vibe of East London, featuring illustration tattoo art by local artist Sophie Mo and photography of the local area by Martin Usborne. All stays include complimentary Wi-Fi and local call as well as a complimentary mini-bar that’s daily stocked with soft drinks and sweet & savoury snacks.

Andaz London are also proud to team up with (RED)® through the creation of our (ANDAZ)RED Suite. Inspired by East London, the suite is personally designed by Sir Terence Conran to transpire the residential style ethos the designer shares with Andaz and 30% of the nightly room rate is donated to (RED)’s fight against AIDS.

Wind down in our award-nominated Andaz Lounge, newly refurbished as the place where the hotel’s Victorian railway tradition meets the avant-guard East End, with our complimentary morning Wake Up hot drinks & fresh pastries or evening Wine & Canape Hour offering a taste of our restaurants daily.
