EasyJet are launching a new hold luggage proposition on Tuesday 15th November
From 15th November 2017, easyJet will be offering the choice of adding either 15kg or 23kg of hold luggage.
This means the airline is replacing their current 20kg hold bag option with a lower-priced choice for those who need to travel with a bit more than a cabin bag, and a higher weight option if customers need to take more with them, for example when travelling to business exhibitions.
FAQS:
1. Why have we abandoned the 20kg bag option?
Our old proposition did not fully cater for the travel needs of all of our customers. Now customers can enjoy smaller weight 15kg bag on shorter business trips from £9.99 or take a little more with them with our 23kg bag.
2. What will happen for customers who have already purchased a 20kg bag for future flights?
We will honour customers who have purchased a 20kg bag on an existing booking. No amendments will be made to their bookings. Customer will still be able to add weight to 20kg bags up to 32kg. Our new bag sizes will only apply to new bookings.
3. Will customers still be able to add additional hold luggage weight to their booking?
Yes – customers will be able to add weight in 3kg increments up to 32kg total for one hold bag.
4. What changes will apply to FLEXI and Inclusive fare bookings?
Bookings made on our new Flexi and Inclusive fares will now include a 23kg bag in the price. Any existing bookings will have their 20kg bag allowance honoured.
Please contact your dedicated Travel Executive for more information regarding this matter.
