Flower Festival at Belmond Reid’s Palace in Madeira

Every year, at the island of eternal spring, an enchanting festival takes place. The Flower Festival is a tribute to spring and a wonderful way to celebrate the great heritage of the island, the flowers. Apart from the events organized by the Madeira Tourism Board, this year, Belmond Reid’s Palace invites you to celebrate this Festival with a special event.

• 5 Tables, 5 Artists, 1 special menu and lots of flowers: 5 local artists have been challenged to decorate a special dining table
• Choose your favourite artist, have dinner with him and enjoy this experience of colours and flavours: To choose your favourite artist, take a walk through the hotel, where you will find the different spaces decorated by each of the 5 artists.
• Fruit and vegetable carving workshop: Bruno Santos, our carving master, will show you how to transform vegetables and fruit into beautiful flowers.
• Floral Carpets workshop: Take part in tradition and learn how to do the famous floral carpets.
