Manchester Airport transformation programme
The ABTA Destinations team have been made aware of temporary changes that will take effect from 19th October at Manchester Airport as part of their transformation programme.
Manchester Airport has advised that they will be making some changes to the facilities in and around Terminal 2. As a result there may be some road layout changes, as well as altered access routes through departure and arrivals. It is recommended that all passenger allow extra time for their journey.
In addition, from 19th October, the customer drop off area will change from the current area in front of the terminal building to a specially commissioned forecourt at ground level.
Customers who require additional support from the airport staff are requested to arrange this in advance whilst the works are taking place.
