Rock ‘n Roll, Touring is Back in Australia!

On March 4, The Foo Fighters, one of the world’s biggest rock bands, delivered a one-night-only stadium show – the first in Australia for over two years – all to celebrate Australia’s large scale live music is back!

The 3-hour rock & roll marathon took place in the GMHBA Stadium to 30,000 screaming fans.  Truly a historic night for live music and it marks the beginning of the music touring season in Australia!

“For the past two f*@king years, I’ve been waiting and waiting and waiting for these mother f*@kers to open up your border,” Dave Grohl exclaimed at the first show in Australia since 2018.

“I thought we were going to play some f*@king theatre, some little club or something like that – but because this is f*@king Australia, here we are in a f*@king stadium tonight. We f*@king miss you people so much; I am so f*@king happy to be here.”

Announced just nine days in advance, our TAGstars were able to coordinate last minute travel arrangements for the band and crew, bringing this exciting and historic event to life – which was spearheaded by the late Michael Gudinski’s “Always Live” initiative and promoter Frontier Touring.

The Foo Fighters, a 12-time Grammy winning band, are a long-standing and beloved client of TAG. We were very excited to be a part of such a historical event for the Australian music industry and are thrilled to be working with them again for their 2022 world tour.
