United Airlines introduces Boeing 777-300ER to additional routes

United Airlines announced additional Boeing 777-300ER service, the airline's newest aircraft type featuring the all-new United Polaris business class seats, to its flight schedules. Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways - All electronics devices allowed onboard US flights

If you are travelling with Etihad Airways or Emirates to the United States from Abu Dhabi International Airport and Dubai International Airport, you are now permitted to carry all electronic devices on board. Additionally, the US Immigration facility at Abu Dhabi Airport allows you to clear US immigration and customs formalities before you fly to the US, instead of after landing.

Lufthansa expands its long-haul network: New destinations from Munich and Frankfurt in summer 2018

Cathay Pacific to extend successful Betsy Beer promotion

Cathay Pacific announced the extension of its Betsy Beer promotion, which will see the high-quality craft beer, specially brewed to be enjoyed at 35,000 feet, offered on flights between Hong Kong and Europe, Canada, the United States, Japan, New Zealand and Tel Aviv over the coming months. Named after “Betsy”, Cathay Pacific’s first aircraft, a Douglas DC-3 which flew passengers around the region in the 1940s and 1950s, Betsy Beer was first introduced on flights between Hong Kong and destinations in the United Kingdom – Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester – in March, while services to Australia followed suit in April.

Virgin Australia has announced codeshare services on Air Canada flights between Los Angeles and three major Canadian cities, enabling customers to enjoy new, seamless connections between Australia and Canada. Customers travelling on Virgin Australia’s 18 return services per week between Australia and Los Angeles will also be able to book travel on Air Canada’s flights between Los Angeles and: Toronto (YYZ); Calgary (YYC); and Montreal (YUL) Virgin Australia customers can earn Velocity Points when travelling on eligible codeshare services.

United Airlines announces non-stop service between Los Angeles and Singapore

United Airlines (UAL) announced that it will introduce daily nonstop flights between its Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) hub and Singapore's Changi Airport (SIN), effective October 27th, 2017 (westbound), subject to government approval. The flight between LAX and SIN will set the new distance record for any airline operating a flight to or from the United States, at 8,700 miles.
