Travelling to the US | What you need to know
On the 8th November, the US is allowing fully vaccinated UK travellers enter the country without having to quarantine. We know it seems like a lot of information and even more you need to do in order to travel to the country, and that's why we've made it easier for you. We've put together a quick guide of what you need to do and be aware of when preparing to travel to the US.
This must be done a minimum of 3 days before.
Anyone travelling to the US from the UK must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Any vaccines approved by US health regulators will be accepted.

Fully vaccinated individuals will have to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test (viral) taken within three days prior to boarding an airplane. Once you receive your results, save them for quick access in the airport.
Find a test provider
It's the law that anyone travelling to the US by plane from a foreign country must confirm (attest to) either a negative COVID-19 test result, or clearance for travel after recovery from COVID-19. This applies to everyone over two years of age. You can attest on behalf of someone else travelling with you if they're unable to do so themselves, or as the parent or legal guardian of children under 17.

Fully vaccinated passengers arriving in England from countries not on the red list can take a lateral flow test on or before day 2 of their arrival into the UK. Passengers will need to take a photo of their lateral flow test and booking reference supplied by the private provider and send it back to them to verify the result. Passengers are also able to book to have a test which they can take on their arrival into the UK at testing centres located in some airports.
