Air France Launches Remote Baggage Check-In Service in Paris 

Air France has launched a remote baggage check-in and drop-off service for flights departing Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, following an agreement with French baggage specialist, Alltheway. 

The carrier said the service will allow travellers to check their bags in at several locations in Paris and the Paris region via the Alltheway platform.

Four Seasons to Open Property in Florida's Jacksonville, Florida 

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to open a new property in Jacksonville, Florida in 2026. 

To launch the property, the hotel group has partnered with the owner of the National Football League’s (NFL) Jacksonville Jaguars, Shahid Khan. 

Also including 26 private residences, the 170-room, new-build hotel will be located on the banks of the St Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, offering waterfront views and access to a redeveloped marina. There will be four dining and lounge outlets, including a rooftop restaurant and bar, an all-day restaurant, and a pool bar and grill. In addition, the property will feature a gym, multiple outdoor pools, expansive meeting and event space, and a kids’ club.

United Airlines Unveils New Amenity Kits on Transcontinental & Hawaii Routes

United Airlines has introduced new amenity kits for business and first-class passengers on transcontinental and Hawaii routes. 

Business class passengers on transcontinental routes between West Coast hubs and the New York City area, will now receive amenity kits featuring products from wellness brand, Asutra. The reusable pouches include an Asutra cleansing face towelette, lip balm, hand lotion and an eye mask, as well as a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste and ear plugs.

Lufthansa Expands Business Class Meal Pre-Selection Service 

Lufthansa has announced a number of changes to its in-flight service, including an expanded meal pre-selection offering for business class passengers. 

From the middle of next month, premium customers on long-haul flights from Germany will be able to choose from a total of six main dishes, with pre-selection open between one month and 24 hours before departure.

Air Canada has added Apple TV+ streaming service to its inflight entertainment system, doubling the amount of content available since last year. 

Passengers will now be able to watch original Apple TV+ series, including The Morning Show, Ted Lasso, Bad Sisters and Severance. The carrier now offers more than 2,500 hours of movies, TV shows, podcasts and music on its complimentary IFE system.
