Accor Opens Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel

Accor has opened its third Pullman property in New Zealand, located 100 metres from the entrance to Auckland Airport's international terminal. The 311-room hotel is situated next to Accor's existing Novotel Auckland Airport hotel and has a three-pointed star shape inspired by the design concept of 'Sea to Sky.'

Emirates Flight Catering Acquires World's Largest Indoor Vertical Farm

The UAE-based Emirates Flight Catering has fully acquired Emirates Bustanica and its consumer brand Bustanica, the world's largest indoor vertical farm. The 330,000 sq. ft. facility can grow more than one million kilograms of leafy greens a year, equivalent to three tonnes daily, while using 95% less water compared to conventional agriculture. 

Delta to Add Los Angeles-Brisbane Service

On 4 December, Delta Air Lines will launch seasonal service between Los Angeles and Brisbane. Flights will operate three times weekly through 28 March 2025.

TAG Buys US Production Travel Expert Atlantis

TAG has agreed to acquire California-based production travel specialist Atlantis Travel. "With expertise in handling the fast-paced and ever-changing needs of production travel worldwide, Atlantis Travel has established itself as a trusted partner in the entertainment industry," said TAG Chief Operating Officer Gabrielle Carr.

Singapore to Charge Passenger Fee for Required Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Use


Beginning in 2026, Singapore will require flights departing from the island nation to use SAF, and customers will be charged a SAF levy. Singapore's initial SAF target will be 1% of fuel per flight, increasing by 2030 to 3% to 5%, subject to global developments and wider availability and adoption of SAF.



United Adds Eight Partners to Sustainable Flight Fund 
 

United Airlines launched the fund one year ago to focus investments on sustainable aviation fuel research, technology and production. The new partners include Aircastle, Air New Zealand, Embraer, Google, HIS, Natixis CIB, Safran and Technip Energies. There are currently 22 participants, and the fund now exceeds $200 million in capital.
