Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa reveals events venue in the heart of the Mayan Jungle

Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa reveals plans for its beautiful authentic Mexican-inspired event venue, which will open at the end of April 2019. Located in the heart of the resort’s majestic Mayan jungle and overlooking one of the most stunning beaches in Riviera Maya, the venue offers a year round, all-weather setting for enchanting celebrations, weddings and special events.

Mayan-inspired Design

Expertly designed and crafted by Tara & Bernerd Partners, a prestigious interior design house in London's Belgravia, the new palapa will be located in the heart of the lush jungle, yet easily accessed from the main lobby. Decorated in an elegant tropical style, detailing includes; a custom-made Mayan rug centrepiece crafted by local artisans, locally-made ceramic chandelier, Mexican textured linens and traditional chukum wall finish.

At a Glance

The venue is 570 square metres in size and can host conferences and banquet dinners for up to 200-person and is complete with wi-fi, air conditioning, hi-tech AV equipment, private bathrooms, spacious outdoor wooden terrace and contemporary kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook verdant vistas and the authentic wooden floor is perfect for dancing until dawn. For the ultimate celebration, the entire 63-room resort can be booked exclusively for a fully hosted and bespoke experience.

The menu for planning perfection

To celebrate the new venue space, Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa launches ‘The Menu For Planning Perfection’; a special offer designed for group celebrations in 2019 with prices
starting from 255 USD per night (from June to October). The offer gives meeting planners the chance to select from an 'a la carte' menu of exclusive discounts and services, from 10% discount on all spa services to VIP in-room amenities and extra commission for groups staying on an all-inclusive plan.
