South Korea Reforms Its K-ETA Electronic Travel Authorisation
Since 3 July 2023, the electronic travel authorisation for South Korea has been extended; in particular, young travellers and senior citizens will no longer need a K-ETA from the same date. In addition, the K-ETA validity will be increased from two years to three years.

Delta Seeing Steady Corporate Travel Improvement
Delta Air Lines' second-quarter business travel revenue increased year over year, primarily driven by international demand, Delta President Glen Hauenstein said during a Thursday earnings call.
"International passenger revenue grew 61%, led by the transatlantic and Latin America [regions]," Hauenstein said. "On corporate, we expect steady improvement in demand. Our recent corporate survey shows businesses expect to increase travel in the second half, with several of the least-recovered sectors conveying optimism for increased travel in the fall."

United Unveils New Domestic First-Class Seat
United Airlines unveiled a new domestic first-class seat that includes a wireless charging station in each arm rest, the carrier announced Wednesday.
According to United, the seat also will feature a 5-inch recline range, an adjustable aisle arm rest, vegan leather upholstery, 13-inch seatback screens, 18-inch tray tables, Bluetooth connectivity, an ergonomist-designed seat cushion and privacy screens. In addition, customers will be able to charge multiple devices at the same time with the wireless option, along with an AC household-style outlet and a USB-C outlet.

New Air Canada, United Lounges for SFO & Newark
Air Canada has opened a Maple Leaf Lounge in Terminal 2 at San Francisco International Airport, making it the carrier's third US lounge and 28th worldwide.
At more than 8,000 square feet, the lounge seats 165 customers and includes an outdoor terrace, runway views, showers with heated towel racks and a VIP room for up to 10 people.
