Norwegian unveils new must-see sights in Denver and Seattle ahead of new route launches

Norwegian reveals the exciting new visitor attractions in Denver, Colorado and Seattle, Washington as the countdown begins to the airline’s two new USA routes launching at London Gatwick next month. From Saturday 16th September, Norwegian will break the current monopoly on direct UK flights to Denver with a brand new two-weekly service, offering the only low-cost route from London to Denver.

United Airlines new daily service between Paine Field and its Denver and San Francisco hubs

United Airlines (UAL) announced it will offer customers six daily flights between Paine Field and its hubs in Denver (DEN) and San Francisco (SFO) beginning in the fall of 2018. Located just 23 miles north of Seattle, Paine Field is the newest option for the fast growing number of business and leisure travelers from the Northern Seattle, Snohomish and Northern King County areas.

Air Canada introduces Montreal-Tokyo non-stop flights

Air Canada announced the introduction of a new service between Montreal and Tokyo Narita starting June 1st, 2018. Flights will operate year-round, with daily service during summer peak travel and three times a week during the winter, with Air Canada's flagship aircraft, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Increased security at Helsinki Airport

The Finnish police have increased security at Helsinki airport and several train stations, after a man armed with a knife stabbed several people in the Puutori-Market Square area of Turku in the southwest of Finland. American Airlines announces new flights to Europe

Air France continues to serve Chicago in the 2017 winter season

Delta launches biometrics to board aircraft at Reagan Washington National Airport

Delta customers now can use fingerprints instead of their boarding pass to board any Delta aircraft at Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Delta’s biometric boarding pass experience that launched in May at the DCA Delta Sky Club is now integrated into the boarding process to allow eligible Delta SkyMiles Members who are enrolled in CLEAR to forego a paper or mobile boarding pass in favor of using fingerprints as proof of identity to board their plane.

United Airlines announces year-round service between New York/Newark and Rome

As United celebrates 20 years of service to Italy, the airline announced it will be offering customers year-round nonstop service between New York/Newark and Rome. Expanding its current summer seasonal daily schedule, United will now also offer the service from November 2017 through to March 2018 – operating between three times a week and daily.
