Qantas has announced it will introduce Premium Lounge Entry – a new airport departure experience for eligible Qantas customers departing from Brisbane Domestic Airport. Qatar Airways introduces daily A380 to Melbourne 

Qatar Airways has marked its seventh anniversary in Melbourne, Australia, by announcing plans to introduce its superjumbo A380 aircraft to Melburnians from 30th June 2017 in order to meet rising passenger demand. The 517-seater A380 aircraft will increase Qatar Airways’ current daily capacity by 44 per cent on this route to meet the growing travel and trade demand, connecting Melbourne-based passengers and freight to more than 150 destinations globally.

Qantas announces Melbourne – Los Angeles as first Dreamliner route

Passengers flying from Melbourne to Los Angeles will be the first to experience the Qantas 787-9 Dreamliner when the inaugural international service takes-off on 15 December next year. Qantas to fly non-stop Perth to London

KLM has announced some important changes to the BlueBiz programme which will be effective as of 1st January 2017: The partnership between Air France, KLM and Alitalia has changed and as a result of this, Alitalia will no longer be a partner in the BlueBiz programme as of 31st December 2016. This means that you will no longer be able to earn Blue Credits on Alitalia tickets issued after this date.
