New amenity kits onboard Japan Airlines International First Class

Japan Airlines (JAL) is now providing new amenity kits for its International First Class from Tokyo (Haneda or Narita) to New York JFK, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle. JAL developed new amenity kits in collaboration with PORSCHE DESIGN, the German premium lifestyle brand, that include: toothbrush set, mouth wash, earplugs, eye mask, hand & body cream (PORSCHE DESIGN), facial spray (PORSCHE DESIGN), lip balm (PORSCHE DESIGN), brush, moisture mask and pocket tissue.

Emirates introduces Laptop/Tablet handling service for US flights

Emirates customers traveling to the US via Dubai will be able to utilize their laptops and tablet devices on the first part of their journeys, and also during transit in Dubai. They must then declare and hand over their laptops, tablets, and other banned electronic devices to security staff at the gate just before boarding their US-bound flight.

Etihad Airways’ luxurious Dreamliner commences daily services into Amman

Etihad Airways has started operating its state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the Abu Dhabi – Amman route, as part of its daily schedules between the two capitals. The new two-class Dreamliner features the airline’s next-generation Business and Economy Class cabins, featuring 299 seats - 28 in Business Class and 271 in Economy Class, representing a 65 per cent capacity increase on the route.

Cathay Pacific and Lufthansa Group announce co-share agreement

Cathay Pacific signed a co-operation agreement with the Lufthansa Group that will see the airline codeshare on flights operated by Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian Airlines to a number of destinations in continental Europe. Reciprocally, the Lufthansa Group will codeshare on Cathay Pacific services to four of the airline’s most popular destinations in Southwest Pacific.

United Airlines modernizes airport screening experience at Newark Liberty

United Airlines is enabling customers to move through the screening process quicker at its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport with the opening of a fully redesigned and consolidated security checkpoint in Terminal C. Virgin Australia announces flights from Melbourne to Hong Kong

Virgin Australia announced it will commence services between Melbourne and Hong Kong, expanding its international footprint into Greater China for the first time. From 5th July 2017, Virgin Australia will operate five return services per week between the two cities, using dual aisle Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Etihad Airways to launch A380 flights to Paris

Qantas transforms departure experience in Brisbane

Qantas opened the doors to its new Domestic Business Lounge and Premium Lounge Entry as part of the airline’s multi-million dollar upgrade at Brisbane Airport. Berlin Industrial Action - 10th March
