Eurostar service update

Eurostar trains on the Paris route are currently suspended because of a problem with the overhead power supply in Paris Gare du Nord. Eurostar 9040 train from London St Pancras to Paris Gare Du Nord scheduled to depart at 16h31 has been cancelled due to this issue.

Introducing British Airways’ new route to New Orleans, Louisiana

From 27th March 2018, British Airways will be the only airline flying direct between Europe and New Orleans, the largest city in Louisiana. Services will depart from London Heathrow Terminal 5 on board their latest Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with a choice of four flights a week.

Qatar Airways adds routes to Canberra, Dublin and Las Vegas

Qatar Airways announced eight more destinations for 2017-18, in addition to seven previously announced new cities for a total of 15 new gateways. Joining the Qatar Airways’ route network, which spans more than 150 destinations on six continents around the world, are: Canberra, the airline’s fifth destination in Australia; Dublin, Ireland; Las Vegas, the airline’s 11th destination in the United States; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Medan, Kualanamu International Airport, the airline’s third destination in Indonesia; and Tabuk and Yanbu, the 9th and 10th destinations in Saudi Arabia.

Air France’s Dreamliner to fly between Paris and Montreal

United Airlines starts daily service between Newark and Havana

United Airlines' long-awaited first flight to Havana in over fifty years is scheduled to depart from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), ending many of the decades-long travel restrictions and opening new doors for cultural and economic exchange between the neighboring nations, while also providing the large number of Cuban-American residents in the New York/Newark region access to Havana. United is now operating daily nonstop flights to the Cuban capital from EWR and Saturday nonstop service from Houston.

Cathay Pacific reopens Heathrow lounge following a spectacular makeover

Cathay Pacific unveiled its First and Business Class Lounge at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3 in a soft opening to eligible passengers following an extensive renovation. The lounge, which officially opens its doors on Wednesday, 7th December features separate First and Business Class areas and is the only Cathay Pacific lounge outside of Hong Kong with these distinct zones.

Etihad Airways and Hong Kong Airlines expand codeshare

Etihad Airways has announced an expanded codeshare agreement with Hong Kong Airlines, to give air travellers enhanced connections between Australasia, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. The two airlines have obtained regulatory approval to codeshare on nine additional routes, bringing the total number of services in their codeshare agreement to 14.
