The What   

As Entertainment / Music Touring Travel Specialist you will have a diverse and varied role. Here are just some of the things you’ll be getting involved with:   

  • Managing Client needs: As well as fulfilling the travel requirements for your high-profile clients, you will need to anticipate and understand their individual preferences and needs, ensuring our service is bespoke and tailored to them. 
  • Logistic planning: Formulate logistics plans to meet your clients’ needs. You will ensure that their trip runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, making cost and time savings wherever you can and delivering practical travel solutions. 
  • Relationship building: Develop professional relationships internally, with your clients and suppliers to build long term partnerships. This will involves responding to queries promptly and offering swift resolutions.  
  • Negotiation with vendors: You will proactively negotiate the best rates and deals from vendors to reduce client expenditures. 
  • Cost management: Work with external suppliers and our internal procurement teams to continually negotiate the best rates and deals from vendors to reduce client expenditures. 
  • Accounting queries: Work closely with our Finance department to reconcile any accounting discrepancies and see them through to resolution.

As Entertainment / Music Touring Travel Specialist  there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous, but a determined attitude and willingness to learn, are equally important.  

  • Attention to detail: Our clients expect the highest level of service, so a keen attention to detail is critical for success. 
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be incredibly important in this role. You will need to work with a variety of people, internally and externally, communicating important information clearly and concisely.  
  •  Flexibility: Travel is not 9-5. We work flexibly to accommodate our clients, our TAG team colleagues and our suppliers meaning on occasion there could be requirements ‘outside of office hours’ to manage time zones and other work commitments.  
  • Industry knowledge: Ideally you will have two or more years experience in the travel industry. A strong knowledge and understanding of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, ticket exchanges and hotel reservations is important.    
  •  Teamwork: You need to be able to work across teams, locations and time zones, building strong relationships with both our highly valued external and internal people.   

 The Where and When  

This is a full-time role based in either of our UK offices. You will report into the Team Supervisor in your office and will have a strong management network, both in the UK, US and APAC, to help you navigate the global elements of the role.  There are other regional Entertainment and Touring teams based in across the globe that you may work closely with too.
